A wedding vow renewal ceremony is a ceremony in which a married couple renew or re-affirm their wedding vows. This gives a married couple a chance to renew their commitment to each other and demonstrate that the vows they took are still relevant and important.

To some couples the ceremony offers the chance to celebrate the wedding they never had. Couples may decide to renew vows because they have passed through a difficult time in their relationship or because they are  celebrating a significant anniversary. Couples may like to include children in their renewal of vows ceremony to acknowledge the importance of family in the ceremony.
